ELBA GETS "BONE DEEP"

"This Christmas" hottie Idris Elba has joined the cast of Screen Gems' bank heist thriller "Bone Deep," playing a member of a group of bank robbers enlisted in pulling off a $20 million heist.

The film stars Matt Dillon as Los Angeles Det. Jack Welles, a troubled workaholic who pursues the gang of robbers.

Before "Christmas," the handsome British actor recently appeared in "American Gangster" with Denzel Washington. His other credits include "28 Weeks Later" and "The Reaping." Check him out next in the Screen Gems remake of the slasher movie "Prom Night."
