Ms. Alicia Keys may supposedly be the home wrecker that ended Mashonda and Swizz Beatz's marriage, but she sure knows how to sing like a little angel. While on her promo tour, for the re-release of her "As I Am" album, which drops November 25th, 2008; Ms. Keys hit up Davide Letterman. She belted out her new single, "The Thing About Love", and it was on point.

It seems like Alicia Keys may be the hussy who came between Swizz Beatz and his wife/baby mother Mashonda. In new reports, the Daily News dishes about recent events that have changed Mashonda's hopes of keeping this under wraps. Apparently Keys has been flaunting Swizzy, even calling him her Boo.

Alicia Keys could be named as “the other woman” in the divorce of hip-hop producer Swizz Beatz and R&B singer Mashonda. Swizz has been brushing off rumors that Grammy-winner Alicia had anything to do with his split from Mashonda, his wife of almost five years and mother of his 1-year-old son, Kasseem Dean Jr. But Mashonda isn’t buying it. Last week, she was incensed when she heard about the birthday party Alicia threw for Swizz at midtown’s Louis Vuitton store, where guests included Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Robin Thicke. “Alicia introduced Swizz as ‘The man of the hour and my boo,’” says an insider. “Mashonda has had enough. She put her career on hold to be a wife and mother. She’s tired of pretending she’s deaf, dumb and blind to what’s going on. She can’t believe how disrespectful Alicia is being.”

“That was his announcement. She got sucked into it. She thought they were trying to put their marriage back together. Meanwhile, he’s apparently been telling Alicia that his marriage was over.” Though he accompanied Alicia on her European tour last summer, Swizz has continued to live, off and on, with Mashonda and Kasseem Jr. at their Westchester mansion, says a friend. Mashonda is said to have exploded when she found a flirty e-mail from Alicia on Swizz’s BlackBerry. According to sources, she fired back a reply, reminding the singer he was still her husband. Mashonda has now hired powerhouse matrimonial lawyer Bernard Clair. “This could have been handled quietly,” said a friend. “But now Mashonda has taken the gloves off.” Clair declined to comment. Keys’ rep didn’t return a call. A friend of Swizz said, “His relationship with Alicia began after their separation. He hasn’t kept it a secret. He still has great love for Mashonda and has promised to take care of her and their son and support her career.”

Swizz Beats and his ex-wifey/baby mama Mashonda have had about all they can take, of people talking crap about their divorce. In a recent statement to MTV, Swizz Beats let out some of his frustrations.

“Everybody can have their fun right now talking that dumb sh– about my divorce and all that. I’mma give them something to talk about. People get divorced every f—in’ day. They need to worry about more serious things.”

“It ain’t even bad. My divorce, it ain’t nothing bad. It’s just us moving on. Me and Shonda are super good. It is what it is. [The press] are nine months late on the situation. It’s a headache to me. We been separated nine or 10 months already. I’m not hiding anything,” he added. “I can see if I was hiding something. I’m a grown man. Nobody is living no perfect life. Mashonda has a single coming out that I funded, photo shoots that I funded. We made our statement that we’re still working together. They didn’t wanna believe it. I said I would be continuing to support her career. Nobody wants to look at that sh–. They wanna look at ‘Alicia Keys.’ That sh– is ignorant.”

Swizz Beatz and his singer wife Mashonda are officially separated, although not divorced after 4 years on marriage and 1 child.

A rep from the couple spoke with AllHipHop.com and confirmed that couple has and "amicable" separation. In fact, it has been that way for quite some time. "Their union was one shared in love and deep admiration for one another," a rep told the site. "For the last seven months, the two have been working on establishing a formidable friendship, being great parents to their son, and remaining great supporters of each other's careers. The couple has asked that their privacy be respected at this time."

With Kassem Dean Jr, to raise, Swizz Beatz is busy at work on his sophomore album and Mashonda is creating an upscale swim wear line.

They pretty much have the Kimora and Russell Simmons relationship. And just like the Simmons', they will inevitably get the official heave ho!
