Lil' Wayne Lands His First No. 1 Single With Some Candy & Album Gets Pushed Back

If you are either living on the moon or have been hibernating for at least the past two months, the you may not be familiar with the song "Lollipop". With the first single off of Lil' Wayne's album, he scored the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with 183,000 downloads.

Lil' Wayne jumps up one spot as he was No. 2 last week. Lil' Wayne has made it 20 times on the Charts since 1999 and his previous peak was 2004's "Go DJ" .

His album which has been jumping dates all around, strangely was pushed back by Universal and comes on June 10th. It was supposed to be out on May 13th.

Mariah Gets Her Biggest Number 1 Debut Ever!

Mariah Gets Her Biggest Number 1 Debut Ever!

Mariah Carey has much to be proud of! She has earned her sixth No. 1 album on The Billboard 200, with "E=MC² ". According to the Nielsen SoundScan, she sold 463,000 copies in her first week.

Now my favorite part...That make her the highest selling album of 2008 so far. She also now has her own personal highest debut week, up from 404,000 with "The Emancipation of Mimi". Also, she joins Madonna and Janet Jackson in a three way tie for the most No. 1 albums for a female artist. (Barbra Streisand is leading with 2 more; 8 No. 1 albums.)

However, with Madonna releasing, "Hard Candy" on April 29th, she may take second place to herself.
