NAACP Award Nominations Have Arrived - And It looks Like A Beyonce Fest!

I don't know who the hell was behind the nominations for the 2009 NAACP Image Awards; but dare Kanye talk about the VMA's being rigged again. Regardless of what he thinks about his bestie Beyuki, there is no way she is ready for any legitimate acting award. And then her music was okay, but far less creative than her last album B-Day. And they know she lies about writing most of her songs. Shame on the NAACP for nominating the most fabricated artist in the industry today. Below are the some of the nominees for TV, Film and Music.

Serena Williams recently had a photo shoot and in interview with HMagazine. She talked about her 2008 Tennis Season, her school opening in Kenya and her new clothing line.

Professional sports and fashion have always shared an awkward dance. As an athlete, you’re stuck wearing a regulation uniform, or some sponsors’ dri-fit mesh bull-shit T-shirt (sorry Tiger Woods, but your shit is goofy). Now, the other country club sport allows for a little leeway. Tennis stars have been pushing the boundary of what’s appropriate for a while now, and no one seems to challenge the sport’s dress code more than Serena Williams. Her collection of skin-tight onesies and unique tennis dresses has definitely showcased her raw power so to speak (and of course no one can deny her dominance in the sport, winning 32 singles championships, 12 doubles, 9 grand slam events in singles, 8 grand slam events in doubles, a couple o’ Olympic gold medals, and the 1991 Kenosha, WI Pinewood Derby).
