New Music: Alexandra Burke "Hallelujah"

X Factor just wrapped in the UK, but leave it to their new winner, Alexandra Burke to break all types of records over the pond; giving American Idol a run for their money. Her single, "Hallelujah" sold over 105,000 downloads in just 24 hrs, beating former champ Leona Lewis' record of 82,000. The song has also become the fastest selling single in European history. Beyonce Debuts at #1...But is it Enough?

Beyonce has something to celebrate about. Her latest album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce", debuted in the number 1 spot with 482,000 copies sold, according to Billboard.com and the Nielsen Soundscan. However, the disc didn't live up to her Papa's expectations.

Her father Matthew Knowles, recently predicted that Billboard; "I think we’ll sell 750,000 to 1 million copies [in the] first week". Unfortunately, with the industry the way it is, you need to be Lil' Wayne to sell those numbers.

B's new album, slipped sales from her "B-Day" disc, which opened at 541,000, but still holds up better than her debut album, "Dangerously in Love," which debuted with 317,000 in first week sales.

Last night around 9pm, the official Lil' Wayne tally was at 696,000 copies sold. The official reports, which have records sales down to the last minute, just released state that Lil' Wayne is the only person besides 50 Cent to sell more than 1 Million copies in his first week. Making him bump Ms. Mariah out the way for highest selling album of 2008 so far, with 1,005,545 copies sold!

It is Officially LIL' WAYNE DAY here at DyFuse.com! Wayne has surpassed the genius Kanye West, with his first week sales! "Tha Carter III" has sold 969,000 copies making him number two to 50 Cent who has never beat his own record of 1.4 Million Dollars and that was 2005! This is a good day in the music industry, when they finally realize songs leaking and using underground promotion really does pay off!
