We all should have known that BET would center it's annual awards show around the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

Host Jamie Foxx dazzled the audience with a moon walk and styles like the gloved one circa 1987. But that wasn't before New Edition hit the stage with a melody of Jackson 5 songs. I give them props because they had little time to prepare. But you could clearly see that NE is nowhere near as talented as the J5 brothers.

I did like the "Thriller" performance Foxx put on as well. And he had me dying when he said: "Michael was all kinds of black. He was Wesley Snipes and Chico DeBarge at the same time."

Nominations for BET Awards 2009

The BET Awards 2009 are just around the corner, as it will be aired Live in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 28, at 8 p.m. EST/PST, at the Shrine Auditorium. The nominees were recently revealed to the world and it seems that T.I., Lil' Wayne and Beyonce lead the pack with 5 nods each. Tying at a close second is Keri Hilson and T-Pain, each with four nominations; while Rihanna, Jamie Foxx, Kanye West and Jazmine Sullivan all got 3. Along with his 3 nomination, Jamie Foxx will also host the event. Below you can catch the entire nominations list. And don't forget to tune in.

Video: Beyonce "If I Were A Boy" & "Single Ladies" on 106 & Park

Well, the only show not to be retired yet, 106 & Park had Beyonce drop in for two performances and an interview. I personally think B needs to work on her stage presence when she's rocking a slow song, that isn't that R&B. But other than that, we have no complaints. R. Kelly to BET's Touré: "I have some 19-year-old friends, but I don’t like anybody illegal"

I will get to the above comment in a moment. But, first and foremost, I highly doubt that either Marvin, Ali or Bob were into pissing on girls. And if by chance they were, I'm pretty sure they weren't stupid enough to be messing with jail bait. Now, as you can tell, R. Kelly's recent interview with BET has me up in arms. But, I actually found it sort of amusing. Kells is a sick perv, something to the extremity of Michael Jackson. The sad part is, like Michael, he HAD a string of hits, and psycho fans that would encourage him to make a fountain out of their mouths, plus loads of money; to hush whoever he may take it too far with.

R. Kelly's exact quote to BET's Touré was: "I’m the Ali of today. I’m the Marvin Gaye of today. I’m the Bob Marley of today. I’m the Martin Luther King, or all the other greats that have come before us. And a lot of people are starting to realize that now." If you just read the 'Martin Luther King' part your about to piss your own pants. MLK jr, pissing on teens, illiterate and sing-rapping lyrics full of misogyny; wow, did he read the same books I did in school...wait that answers my own question. I will say one thing, at one point he was on fire with hits. He even had people singing that he was the Pied Piper, no matter how gross and inappropriate it was. But his last two efforts suck, he's trying to be T-Pain V.2.0, instead of re-building R. Kelly V.1.0 He may have been at the top, but that was before blogging went on fire and his boy lovers and teenage sex partners spoke out.

R. Kelly was at least asked if he like teenagers. His response was pretty much a confession; as he tried to separate a 19 year old from the teen category. Teen- age - r....the word says it all. I mean, after he married Aaliyah when she was 15 I knew something was F*cked up with him. He needs to worry about the fact that his 14 year old sleeping buddies can read better than his ass.

Touré: Let me ask you something real that millions of Americans are thinking about and wondering about you. Do you like teenage girls?
Kelly: When you say teenage, how old are we talking?
Touré: Girls who are teenagers.
Kelly: 19?
Touré: 19 and younger.
Kelly: I have some 19-year-old friends, but I don’t like anybody illegal if that’s what we’re talking about, underage.
