New Music: Nina Sky ft. Pitbull & Flo Rida "Get Up On This"

Nina Sky have not done well intriguing audiences for a sophomore album, but below is another attempt. I like the fact that hear samples of the first female rap group I ever knew Salt N Pepper; the borrow "Push It". Flo Rida - egh, but Pitbull is decent. The track is so, so, but the beat is wicked (yes I used that word). I pretty sure it can stand up to some other songs out now. DL link below! Enjoy!

New Music: Michelle Williams ft. Flo Rida "We Break the Dawn"

New Music: Michelle Williams ft. Flo Rida "We Break the Dawn"

Personally, I think this song is beautiful and I am happy Michelle found a new sound and look. Regrettably, I don't think Flo Rida did anything for this song. But, it's still kind of alright!

Rick Ross Really Covers the Cover of the XXL

Rick Ross Really Covers the Cover of the XXL

XXL was trying to Hood to Hood for this issue of their magazine, but this is a sad cover. It looks badly photshopped and Rick Ross' belly is a haunting site. On the cover: Trina, Flo Rida, Rick Ross and DJ Khaled.

BET Announced Nominees & Performers for 2008 Awards

BET Announced Nominees & Performers for 2008 Awards

BET has no problem selling out and not that am a hater, but some of the people are getting nominated crazy and have no vocal talents...LOL.

Although I will admit that T-Pain always has great hooks and music and makes me want to dance, he is way down on my list of the greatest songwriters of all time. I mean it struck me crazy that he lead the list on nominees for the BET Awards 2008 with 5 nominations. He beat out Kanye West who tied with Keyshia Cole for 3. As well as some modern day greats like Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys who each had 2. Don't ask me how Flo Rida got two nods when he had one mega hit ("Low") and another one ("Elevator") which was the exact same formula.

Performers at this years event include Usher, Mariah Carey, Lil' Wayne, Mary J. Blige and Nelly. This years festivities will be held in Los Angeles on June 24th.

New Releases This Week...

New Releases This Week...

This week there are four much anticipated albums all dropping on the same day (TODAY-MARCH 18th). First and foremost Diddy favorite girl group with the real good voices are back with their follow-up to the platinum selling Danity Kane.

Also up is Flo Rida's, "Mail on Sunday", which will be his debut album. Hopefully that wack and quickly thrown together second single, "Elevator" can live up to the hype of "Low".

Gnarles Barkely has moved up their release date. The duo is releasing, "The Odd Couple" today, which will also be a sophomore album.

Finally, I gave you some tracks from his album yesterday and told you about about his music. Rocko the Don will release his debut album, "Self-Made" today.

Who will land highest on the charts...I say Danity Kane. They are fun, young, funky and already have such a growing fan base. They really set themselves a part because they can really, really blow. They gel so well together as one team.
