JENNY TIMES TWO

JENNY TIMES TWO

I don't think she took the 6 train there but Hollywood Chica and the "Fly Girl" from aroun' da way Jennifer Lopez has had her little chica and chico. A boy and a girl were born to Ms.Lopez several minutes apart on Friday morning, a little after midnight in a Long Island hospital in New York. At press time no names had been released (I love saying that).

Jennifer and the babies are well and husband Marc Anthony is over the moon with joy. These are Jen's first two and Marc's fourth and fifth, he has 2 by his former wife Daynara Torres and an 11year old by a former girlfriend.

I guess it is true what they say about skinny guys.

WESLEY WANTS TO MOVE TRIAL OUT OF OCALA

WESLEY WANTS TO MOVE TRIAL OUT OF OCALA

Wesley Snipes' legal camp continues to work on moving his federal tax-evasion trial out of Ocala, Fla. alleging the city has racial prejudices.

Atorney Robert Barnes filed a motion with a federal appeals court in Atlanta on Friday arguing that U.S. District Judge William T. Hodges erred last month when he denied Snipes' motions to relocate and postpone the trial, reports the Associated Press.

Snipes' camp previously filed two motions to dismiss or transfer the trial out of Ocala, located about 80 miles north of Orlando, claiming the actor could not get a fair trial due to alleged racism.

Barnes also filed a motion Friday to put the trial — scheduled to begin Jan. 14 — on hold until the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rules on the change of venue request. As previously reported, federal prosecutors have denied the racism allegations of Snipes' legal team, saying they have "no basis in reality."

Snipes is charged with fraudulently claiming refunds totaling almost $12 million in 1996 and 1997 for income taxes already paid. The 45-year-old was charged with failure to file returns from 1999 through 2004.

JENNIFER SAYS SHE WAS SURPRISED THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T KNOW SHE HAD A BUN IN THE OVEN

JENNIFER SAYS SHE WAS SURPRISED THAT PEOPLE DIDN'T KNOW SHE HAD A BUN IN THE OVEN

With all the rumors that were floating around about her pregnancy, R&B singer Jennifer Lopez was shocked that people were surprised when she finally delivered the news.

"I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway," the singer tells Harper's Bazaar for its February issue. "I was on tour with a bubble gut!"

During what turned out to be the final date on Lopez’s joint concert tour with husband Marc Anthony, the star admitted last November that they were expecting their first child together.

"Marc and I are expecting," the 39-year-old singer told the crowd in Miami.

''We didn't want to say anything before because we didn't want to take away from the tour, but we're expecting.''

After the announcement, Lopez ducked the entire issue of the pregnancy for weeks, including when she appeared the previous month on TV with Diane Sawyer and with David Letterman, Lopez, 38, speaking on behalf of herself and Anthony, 39, now says, "I do realize people want to know because they're interested, but this is the first time I'm going through this. This is my experience and my husband's experience, and we get to hold that for a little while."

She adds, "We're just getting used to the fact that we've told everybody."

Still, when it comes to her privacy, "I'm just feeling too protective to open that door right now," says Lopez. "It's a Pandora's box. It's a destructive lifestyle to be out there. I know because I've lived it. Being on the cover of the tabloids every day for two years – it's hard. You start forgetting who you really are inside."

She is aware that the Lopez-Anthony baby will be of tremendous interest to paparazzi, but the infant "will be whatever we are," she says. "Private when it comes to that stuff."

Once the baby arrives, there is the matter of taking time off. Asked how long that will be, Lopez answers, "I don't know – and I like that, because my life has been so planned for so many years. Once I did the tour, I really just wanted to shut it down, and since then I've had to do three things, including a video. It may not sound like a lot, but you know, as this point, any woman can sympathize. It is a lot. I was ready just to sit."

I KNEW SHE WAS PREGNANT, AFTER ALL, SHE IS JENNY FROM THE BLOCK.
