Submitted by dyfuse on Thu, 03/27/2008 - 08:40 Bad Boy Celebrity News Danity Kane Destiny's Child Diddy Making the Band Music History Music News First and foremost as I reported, Danity Kane did debut at number 1 on the Billboard 200, with their jazzed up second album, "Welcome to the Dollhouse", which debuted on March 18th! Now to the records: that makes them the biggest selling POP or R&B group since Destiny's Child (and no, not their fareware album), in 2001 for Survivor. It is also 2008's biggest-selling debut album yet. They also are the first female group to go No. 1 with both a debut and sophomore album releases. Not DC, not the Supremes, not even the Spice Girls who hold all tons of records! Danity Kane said of the honor, "This number one is for our fans, everything we do is for them,”. “We would like to thank God, our families, Bad Boy, and Atlantic for all their love and continued support.” They sold 236,000 units in their debut week. Let's see how the guys measure up!

They partied it up with Bad Boy elite at Tenjune in NYC, yesterday, March 18th, 2008. Other mentionables include: Ne-Yo, Patti LaBelle, and Fabolous. The group's high fashion look was in high gear, but I don't know why D Woods though Nike's were a perfect match for that gown. Of course, Aubrey looked hands down the best, as always. But Aundrea looks really cute with that color scheme, she reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Dawn looks cute but plain as always and she's soo pretty, she needs to burst out of that shell. Shannon looks gorgeous as always and I love that dress and ponytail!
