Hip Hop heavyweight T.I., who is under house arrest while he awaits trial for federal weapons charges, has asked a judge to let him host a Thanksgiving Day celebration at his Jonesboro home.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested Oct. 13. Federal authorities allege the 27-year-old rapper tried to buy machine guns and silencers in a midtown Atlanta parking lot just blocks from the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which he was to headline later that night.
He was released on a $3 million bond Oct. 26.
As a condition of his release, T.I. lives in his Jonesboro residence with his girlfriend and children and isn't allowed to have visitors without prior approval. He isn't allowed to have more than three visitors at a time, with few exceptions.
His lawyers asked Tuesday that a list of family members be granted "approved visitation to have dinner with the defendant" Nov. 22 between 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The monitoring service that is supervising his release would be present.

R&B singer T-Pain was arrested on Friday (Nov. 2) in Florida for Outstanding warrants.
T-Pain, real name Faheem Najm, reportedly turned himself in to authorities at Leon County Jail, where he was charged with driving on a suspended license, according to TMZ.
TMZ reports that police saw T-Pain driving in Tallahassee in June and, after running his record, discovered that he had a suspended license.
The 22-year-old star, whose single "Buy U A Drank" was voted the bestselling ringtone of the year, was released on his own recognizance.

Rapper Foxy Brown will spend the next year in jail for violating her probation
"I'm not going to give you any more chances," the judge told the rapper who had been held in jail since her last hearing in August.
The singer, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was arrested on 14 August for allegedly assaulting a neighbor.
In October she was put on probation for allegedly assaulting two nail salon workers in August 2004.
Before the hearing Ms Marchand asked the judge for another chance, promising to behave better in future.
"I'm willing to do whatever I need to do to change," she said.

Rapper Eve looks great on the cover of the new HX magazine (new york gay publication) .
Who’s the most important gay person in your life?
I don’t have any best [gay] friends or a “talk on the phone” kind of thing. It’s more business—friendship business.
Do you get approached a lot by women?
Yeah, I used to more when I first came out. I’ve had people tell me straight up and down that I was gay—I still get it from people. I get more accusations than I actually do get hit on now.
Did it make you uncomfortable?
Gay women are way more aggressive than men—I will definitely say that. [Laughs] But it doesn’t bother me. I’ve never been disrespected in any way. If I’m like, “Yo, I get it, but I don’t swing that way,” then it’s all love. [No means no, Missy Elliott --Fresh]
Who is your celebrity girl-crush?
My girl crush is Angelina Jolie. That’s an everybody girl-crush— that’s my dog’s crush! [Laughs] There is one more person: Dita Von Teese. I’m obsessed with her! I want a Dita Von Teese doll and I’ll be happy. She’s just bananas!
