Creator, producer and super drama starter, Shaunie O'Neal claims Basketball Wives is turning over a new leaf and becoming a more mature toned down show. So why did they axe Jennifer Williams, Kesha Nichols and Royce Reed?
Recently, Shaunie dished that producers were thinking of shaking up the cast and that three members were going to recieve walking papers. Even though VH1 has publically stated that they won't confirm who got the boot until it becomes final, whispers have already pin pointed the targets. But it's not exactly what you'd expect!
Because she decided to sue Evelyn Lozada's assitant for slapping her in the face, Jennifer is getting the boot. Even with her emotional reunion with her co-star, the show considers Jen too much of a liability. But Jen to me is a perfect cast mate. Because every show needs a little bit of drama, and no matter how crazy it gets, she is not one of the violent cast members. She is a shit stirrer of the best kind.
Royce Reed, is known for not holding back any feelings, and speaking what's on her mind. But in her case also, she is not the one who initiates violence amongst cast members. If anything she just says what she feels and tells it like it is. One main reason she is being tossed, is that no other castmates will film with her. They are also using the gag order she has with Dwight Howard as a reason to dump her, because she cannot speak on their relationship. However how many of these women actually speak about their marriage. NAMELY SHAUNIE O' NEAL! Suzie doesn't and neither does Ms. Lozada. (Chad does NOT count - This is BASKETBALL WIVES! Let's talk about Antoine Walker and the money he funneled to you before he went broke!)
Kesha, who has her own personal woes, met the chopping block, even with all the baby daddy drama, was realeased on the premise that she is just too boring, Funny, because when you take away all the violence and beef, she is what the show should be right?
A rep for the ultra mum VH1 network, issued this bland statement. "We don't comment on casting until everything is final. Thanks for checking in."
Personally as much I love Tami, she is unpredictable and hard to control. She is someone I would consider a liability, especially if she has a drink in her system. Evelyn, we all know is the Mother of all evil, and she too has a violence problem. Throwing glasses in restaurants is the reason no venue wants to film her and Chad's wedding. But since she is Shaunie's friend and promised to walk in the light she is getting a pass. But the person who needs to go the MOST, who starts the most drama and who has NO EFFING STORY LINE is Shaunie herself. She is boring because she never admits that she is helping her fellow producers catch these girls acting stupid. Nor does she offer insight into her relationship with her ex husband, his new girl or her latest boy toy!
