Amidst a nasty divorce, things have been getting heated between Deion Sanders and his soon to be ex, Pilar. The pair recently got into a huge fight that resulted in Pilar getting a broken finger and a nail removed. Deion insists that Pilar and her best friend Dee Boswell jumped him in front of their children. However, Pilar and Dee say he was the aggressor.
The case would be as simple as black and white, had the video footage Boswell shot of him using a wooden statue to assault her was possibly destroyed by Deion. He apparently broke the phone in an attempt to hide the evidence.
Now, it has been confirmed that Deion was charged with trying to tamper with said evidence.

Sources told CBS 11 News that police in Prosper filed criminal charges against former Dallas Cowboys star Deion Sanders on Wednesday night, for allegedly trying to destroy evidence related to a domestic disturbance at his home.
Sanders will face a Criminal Mischief charge for allegedly smashing the smartphone of his wife’s friend, who was recording an altercation between Deion and his estranged wife, Pilar, last week.
The memory card from that smartphone is in the custody of police, and could be used as evidence in an investigation of the couple, trying to determine just who assaulted who.
Pilar was subsequently arrested and released; she has also been banned from the mansion they still share together.
This isn’t the first bout of violence in the divorce. Deion’s aunt assaulted Pilar when she tried to stop the woman from removing damaging evidence in their house. Deion’s daughter also publically bashed the woman, after it was revealed she wants their pre-nup dissolved and more than the 1 million dollars she is entitled to.
I don’t care how much you hate a person, to assault and have others assault the mother of your children is disgusting. You would think a man this successful would understand how to respect someone – ex wife or not. This is the most ghetto approach to divorce I have ever seen! DID I MENTION THEIR KIDS WERE WATCHING THE ENTIRE THING!
