Nas and Kelis had a minor war over custody and spousal support after their spilt. In the end Kelis won and was awarded a hefty sum for her and their baby boy Knight. It seems however, Nas feels he can pay when he feels like it or not at all. In fact Laura Wasser, Kelis' lawyer just filed legal papers, to hold the rapper in contempt of court.
Why you ask? Well Nas owes his baby's mama a cool $56,911.50, after refusing to pay anything since December 1st.
In my own opinion, one Nas is not a judge, therefore he should not take actions into his own hands. Doing so could cost you way more; like your freedom. Two, that is your wife who you cheated on and son, who you should support no matter what is going on with his Mother. Three, even if you did something stupid, like not pay the amount you were ordered to, make sure you cover your sons expenses and that he is taken care of. The truth to the matter is that divorce is expensive, maybe if you worked and cared about your relationship more, none of this would be happening. SMDH!
