According to Lance Spiegel, an attorney who worked on the 2005 custody case, in which Jacko's baby mama, Debbie Rower decided to give up her paternal rights, the case didn't end up the way many people believed.

Apparently, in order to close a case like that officially, one must allow the Department of Children and Family Services to conduct a 'parental fitness investigation before parental rights are terminated'. When he spoke with TMZ, he revealed that Debbie Rowe had not done this, and the Judge Stephen Lachs, overturned his official decision to axe her from their lives.

Well Mama and Papa Jackson don't want to hear none of this. Family members who have spoken out claim that they will rage pretty much holy legal hell to ensure, that their biological mother, will never have custody. Ouch!

According to them they want to keep the kids caged in the Jackson family and feel that Rowe has never been a part of their lives. Ironic, seeing as Jacko was reclusive from his own family, and I am pretty sure that they rarely ever seen Jackson's kids. Debbie actually was allowed visitation briefly, but she was never allowed to tell them her relationship with them. That was something Michael felt at the time the "topic is off-limits. But it will be revisited when they are older"

This battle is of course over Paris and Michael Jr, Michael's two older children, which Rowe birthed. "Blanket" was supposedly convinced with a surrogate mother.

Michael Jackson's family will wage an epic battle to make sure Paris and Michael Jr. do not end up in the custody of one Debbie Rowe -- this according to family members who spoke with TMZ.

Personally, I feel perhaps allowing them to see their biological mother, and separate from the Jackson family, they may get a better understanding of the what and who their father really was. They definitely would be away from the press coverage the family already gets. Plus, I'm pretty sure this is the first time they are seeing many members of their family. There will people who are just as much a stranger to them as Rowe.
