Poor Kelis, filed divorce papers on April 30th, 2009, citing irreconcilable differences, but whispers say that Nas put in wiener somewhere it didn't belong. The pregnant ex-singer, turned cook, is physically unable to work, and will need the next couple of years to take care of her new baby. But that doesn't mean ish, to one of the most successful rappers of all time.
Nas has filed his response to Kelis' petition and it ain't pretty. Not only does Nas feel like he shouldn't give her a damn cent from his pocket, he also wants her to handle all of her legal fees. Which may very well put her debt. He also wants joint custody of their baby on the way.
In my personal opinion, Kelis is not the one who betrayed their vows. She also, no matter what happens, your baby's mother. Why would you try to get her to a state financially where she is unable to care for your child. We know the only reason you want joint custody, is so that you don't have to pay any child support; judging from your history, you don't want to have to pay for two children. Remind us when the hell we see you with your daughter.
