B.I.G.'s Mom Voletta Wallace Slams Lil' Kim's Comments on 'Notorious'
You know, regardless of what people say, Lil' Kim has a huge point in this whole B.I.G. Biopic thing. B.I.G.'s mom has become a moneywhore, who Kim exposed as a liar already. Everyone involved should be shamed of marketing off this man's death only 13 years after his death. Think about the people you are trying to play out, to make money; the people he loved and cared about. I mean, I thought this movie was in honor of him.

So, I recently told you about Lil' Kim being pissed at the movie that is coming out and portraying the life and times of the Notorious B.I.G.. And judging from what she said, it seems that everyone involved or who is green lighting this project, is more interested in marketing and banking on this biopic craze that has been sweeping the nation. Including people like producer/BIG's former manager, Wayne Barrow. And his own Mother Voletta Wallace, who we all know was beefing with Puffy over the last BIG album, for more money. Not to mention she was cock blocking on his dream until he made it big; let's see the movie portray that! I know she's happy Angela Bassett is playing her fugly ass.
Anywhoo, during the New York Red Carpet Premiere, Voletta, let her feelings towards Kim's remarks be known. She said:"This is not a Lil Kim movie,". "This is a Christopher Wallace movie. It has nothing to do with Lil Kim. If she's disappointed and upset, that is her problem". That sounds nice considering you lived with this woman for 8 months after your son's death, in his house. And you knew he was beating her and she stood with him because she truly loved him. In other words she said, 'so what, that's your business, deal with it'.
Cheo Hodari Coker, the screenwriter for the film, said on the Red Carpet, that he understood Kim's anger, but offered the sob story; "I think that Naturi (Naughton) did a great job playing Kim. I think people are going to be a lot more sympathetic towards (Lil Kim) after seeing the movie." Great. Play her out as a whore, a fame whoring whore, but people will feel bad for you.
Wayne Burrows, was the most harsh of them all; "Our job as producers ... was to deliver for three individuals. That's his mom and his two children. Everybody else: Stand in line, buy a ticket and enjoy the show.". Again, lie about a star, play the people he cared about, as long as he looks good. That's cold.
But Kim, in a separate statement, than the interview I shared with you said the most true thing I've heard through all this hoopla; "The film studio and producers involved were more concerned about painting me as a 'character' to create a more interesting story line instead of a person with talent, self-respect and who was able to achieve her own career success through hard work."
She added: "Even though my relationship with Big was at times very difficult and complicated (as with most relationships we have all experienced at one time or another), it was also genuine and built on great admiration and love for each other. Regardless of the many lies in the movie and false portrayal of me to help carry a story line through, I will still continue to carry his legacy through my hard work and music."
I think I may boycott this obvious propaganda! This movie is as plastic as his wax statue.
