Beyoncé Knowles is set to be the face - and voice - of Giorgio Armani's new perfume, called Emporio Armani Diamonds

The singer star will appear in both print and TV advertising and will sing her own rendition of a classic American song, after being handpicked by the Italian designer reports WWD.

A source told Page Six: "They have known each other for seven years, and Armani feels Beyoncé represents the glamour and glitz of the fragrance."
