Jennifer Hudson is finally really ready to get back to work after the tragic murders of her Mother, Brother and Nephew, on October 24th, 2008. Initially she was set to shoot a music video last week, but she decided at the last minute that she wasn't ready. Now, she is scheduled to appear at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala on February 6th, 2009.
The event which will also feature musical acts, Tim McGraw, Josh Groban, the Foo Fighters and Coldplay, is held two days before the 2009 Grammys. Jennifer Hudosn is up for 4 Grammys including: Best R&B album for her self-titled debut album, Best Female R&B vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for Spotlight. She also is nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group for "I’m His Only Woman", featuring Fantasia.
BTW, The Grammys air Feb. 8 at L.A.’s Staples Center.
