Bow Wow recently had a photo shoot with GQ Magazine. In the spread he also speaks about his 'growth' and 'maturity', in terms of fashion, music and acting. Of course no mention of his womanizing and dating Angela Simmons. The only thing that is clear, Bow Wow admits he's made some questionable choices in his past. Of one specific fashion mistake, Bow Wow recalls:
There’s nothing that I regret. But I did wear these beads in my hair for the “Let Me Hold You” video. I look back, and I will never do that again [laughs].

Does your rapper style bleed into your silver-screen style?
They’re totally different—day and night. When I’m going on the red carpet, my stylist will lay out 40 outfits for me, only the high-end stuff. But on a daily basis, I’m in a white Polo V-neck tee, some True Religion jeans and some Chucks or Jordan gear. I’m always dressed down but dressed right at the same time.
You’ve grown up in the public eye. Are there any style missteps that you regret?
There’s nothing that I regret. But I did wear these beads in my hair for the “Let Me Hold You” video. I look back, and I will never do that again [laughs].

Good call. What else about your style has changed since you dropped the “Lil”?
Oh, man! It’s totally different. It’s crazy. I would have never thought I’d be wearing clothes like I’m wearing now. I remember I used to clown [Jermaine Dupri] all the time when he used to dress up, like, “What do you have on? I would never wear that!” But as you get older, those baggy clothes turn into nice, fresh-looking gear.
Has it only been age that’s contributed to your mature fashion sense?
[Through hip-hop] I’m able to travel, go to different cities and pick up different styles. That’s how I contribute to how I dress.

Do you draw style inspiration from any other entertainers?
I think Kanye is dope with it. He’s had some crazy fashion moments. And Puff is definitely like a fashion guru. He does his thing. But all in all, I focus on me, not what the next man is doing.
Do you play favorites with certain labels?
I love Louis [Vuitton]; I’m a Louis fanatic. Everything—backpacks, shades, clothes, shoes… watch is G-Shock. And Polo white tees are all day, every day. That’s tour, that’s TV, that’s everything. Everything else flows in pocket.
