Janet Jackson has been working on a line of lingerie called "Pleasure Principle" recently, and has taken a hands on approach in designing the budget friendly line; at times staying up until 4 in the morning. But don't think that she just wanted to follow the 'singers gone designers' road, Janet explained recently, in regards to the line that will be released in November, inside of the USA, Australia, Japan and Europe: "People have come to me with other ideas, but lingerie is a passion for me, and just like music and acting, I can't do it unless I put 100% into it,"
She has tapped Australian clothing designer, Bruno Schiavi to help her along the road. She described the tough new venture, by saying, "I really enjoyed the entire process...There's something for every woman, and that's very important to us. I've always hated when lingerie is uncomfortable, so the fit and comfort was key."
Making sure it will be comfortable and fitting of every consumer, the line also highlighted it price tags, which all range under $40.00. As well as sizes for busty and not so lucky women alike; sizes range from 32A to 44G and will feature demi to full cups. If you want a hint about what to expect, there will be Chantilly Laces, Satins, Bows, rich color combos (from wines to burgundy, beige, silver even peach!) and as always, every line needs classic black and whites.
