Shaniqua Tompkins: "50 Cent Tried to Kill Me"

This is looking really bad for 50 Cent. I told you a little while ago that 50's Long Island home, which he has been in litigation for quite some time and even after a decision in his favor, was burned down. Well, Shaniqua Tompkins, who was to be evicted soon, if the court did not reverse their decision, was inside with her child with 50, Marquis and 4 other people, and she's saying it was the work of her ex-boyfriend.

The time line begins on Monday, May 26th, when 50 and Shaniqua were both summoned to court for depositions in regards to an appeal for the court's decision to evict Shaniqua and give the $2.4 Million Dollar house back to 50. Which Tompkins said and 50's camp confirmed, was because of a new boyfriend that 50 didn't want in the house. Shaniqua says he was obsessed, even though they split in 2002, and didn't want her boyfriend or her new family allowed in the house; which he agreed he initially bought for her.

On Monday, during the depositions, which were already being held at the Supreme Court because of a fear of security, an argument broke out. 50 Cent was so upset, that members of his entourage trashed the lawyers' offices. Then, the argument spilled into NYC streets and footage caught the rapper having to be restrained from going after his ex-girlfriend. [HERE]. Police reports were filed.

Then, Shaniqua claims that 50 threatened her. He told her that he would have someone come after her, telling her "watch". Next thing you know, Shaniqua says someone broke into her home around 4 a.m. and shortly there after, the house was on fire. Her lawyer Paul Catsandonis said that her client and the kids that were in the home are "traumatized" and they were all treated for smoke inhalation. [HERE]

I am not saying that 50 Cent is guilty, but it surely wasn't smart of him to publicly argue with her. Have members of your own camp confirming that you were really upset because her 'new family' moved in; showing you may be a little jealous. Then to send threats her way. But, via his lawyer and quickly back on a movie set in Louisiana, 50 responded:

"Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."

This may sadly be some type of set-up. But then that would only be karma, for all those people that he turned his back on and played. Either way, this is disgusting, because there is a child involved. A human being.
