I first heard about this book over at Bossip.com and I really believe that finally people will listen to what I have been saying all along: Hollywood is Gay. Maybe not everybody, but surely a lot of people are swinging and involved in down low relationships. In a new book, by Terrance Dean everyone from Mariah Carey to Diddy seem like they can fit the bill. The best part is that there are some couples mentioned, which would explain all these 'arranged marriages'. I tried my best to identify the artists, from the excerpts below, feel free to leave your thoughts! His Interview is [HERE]. These are some exclusive passages.
Mariah or Not?
A few times, I spotted "Asia," a 1990s female R&B singer who had an amazing voice and a number of widely successful ballads during that time. She started as a background singer, but her powerful voice proved she needed to be up front as a solo artist. Her short body was topped with her huge, curly hair. Asia made a number of love songs, and her claim to fame was her rendition of a sexy remake of a song originally done by an '80s icon."
We all know that Mariah's claim to fame was that she was discovered while singing back-up for Brenda K. Starr. She spiced up the genre of R&B when she brought back ballads, at a time when uptempo pop tracks ruled. She is commonly referred to as 'The Voice' and one of her biggest hits early on, was a re-make of the Michael Jackson & The J5's "I'll Be There" with Trey Lorenz. Who was one of the biggest '80's icons: Michael Jackson. And plus, she is great pals with Da Brat and Missy Elliot; need I sat more!

Diddy or Not?
A record mogul who has diversified his success in music, business, clothing, and politics and who always has a stunning woman on his arm, had his boy toy in VIP with him (at an industry party).
We all know Diddy's success did also begin in music and since then he has expanded into clothing (Sean John), Business (Ciroc Vodka, MTB, Justins Restaurant, etc.) and he always has a banging female (Jennifer Lopez, Kim Porter & Cassie). We also know he is pimping his "Vote or Die" campaign to make an affect on politics in America. Hmm...
Queen Latifah...No question!
"'I don't give a fuck!' a curvaceous woman yelled. 'She better bring her ass over here!' Everyone turned around to see who was making such a fuss. It was award-winning female rapper/ actress, 'Sheena.'...This wouldn't be the first or last time I'd see or hear about this female rapper/ actress attacking her partners...When she made an appearance on Keenen [Ivory Wayans'] show, I couldn't imagine her being as violent as I had seen her that night because she was the nicest and sweetest person. She had a striking presence, but it was really her walk that made her appear as if she was pimping."
There were tons of rumors about Queen Latifah being Gay. Not to mention, beating on her girlfriends. She is an award winning rapper and actress; which there are not many. We all know Queen Latifah is a curvy woman...Could This Be?
This one is a little harder, but maybe Aaliyah?
"Lola was an R&B singer/ songwriter who had recently moved to Los Angeles from New York. She was a staple on the New York scene, partying with big name celebrities. Her skills caught the likes of super duper producers DeVante Swing of Jodeci, Stevie J, and Dallas Austin. She'd made a noteworthy album, and the critics were eating her up. Her style was a hard-edged rap with a little rock and R&B. Her new single topped the charts and was receiving a lot of airplay...
As much as Lola wanted to be a trailblazer and open doors for other gay artists, she was still part of a machine. Lola had to do what the label told her to do. She was still at their mercy and on their dollar. In videos and on album covers, her look was softened with dramatic makeup, luxurious hair, and seductive clothing. It was like night and day seeing her transformation."
There were countless behind the scenes footage from videos and shoots, where Aaliyah would talk about her look. How she was really tomboy-ish. In fact when she was filming for her final album, she discussed with MTV how she had softened up her look. We all know she wore dramatic Black eyes and beautiful long black silky weave. She is from NY (Bedsty to be exact) and later moved for her career. And if it were her it wouldn't be the first time her label controlled her. Remember that quick divorce from R. Kelly, who himself is constantly questioned about his sexuality.
Eminem or 50 Cent?
A popular multi platinum rapper who started his own label. Eli was a forced to be reckoned with. He flew out the gate with his debut album and would become a mainstay in the ever-changing Hip Hop industry. He has been hailed as one of the greatest rappers to bless the mic.
I would really, really, terribly hate for this to be about Eminem. We all know that he and 50 Cent, both had outstanding debut albums, that launched them into Superstardom. They both subsequently formed their own record labels. While Eminem, isn't in the lime light as often, he has many note worthy tracks that he has produced, as well as guest appearances. 50 Cent on the other hand, has continued to stay in the pop life and has released steady music for that past few years. The only thing is making say yes it's Eminem, is that I do not think that 50 Cent can even be considered one of the best rappers to touch the mic just yet. If you have another idea please tell.
Sisqo's Finally Outed...LOL!
He was a member of one of the most popular R&B groups. They had several number one Billboard hits, and the young girls loved him because the adorable, sexy front singer, Drake had a flamboyant stage presence. He was very eccentric in his style, defying more conventional looks in his appearance. Drake didn’t hold back when he performed either…showing his muscular frame. [He] branched out on his own as a solo artist and had a huge hit single which led to a few acing roles in major motion pictures.
Sisqo emerged on the scene as the front man for mega popular R&B group, Dru Hill in the 1990's. They had plenty of time at the top of the charts. Sisqo was the short, but built and cute front man who always had a unique dancing style and huge stage presence. He then released, "Unleash the Dragon", his debut effort, with the smash hit, "The Thong Song". He then was spotted in movies such as: "Get Over It", "Snow Dogs" and "Pieces of April". Plus, we were all questioning it during the end!
Tisha Campbell Too?
"There was a beautiful television sitcom actress, 'Daisy,' and her actress best friend, 'Lisa.' These two women have been friends for a number of years and are always together. Daisy had done a number of successful sitcoms and got her start in a Broadway musical. Her multirange vocals were often showcased on one of the sitcoms she co-starred on. She often plays a fiery and fiesty character...However, I suspected that Lisa, a former singer and popular comedic actress, was at the club only as support for her."
Tisha Campbell Martin, (yes, her husband is also 'described in the book') and Tichina Arnold were always good friends, so much so that they were featured in the screen adaptation of Broadway's "Little Shop of Horrors" together. They even were both famous comedic sitcom actresses and starred in "Martin" together. She also released an album and would sing as part of her fiesty crazy characters on both, "My Wife and Kids" and "All of Us". It sounds like a match to me.
I am working on the rest and they will posted after my investigations.
