Of all the stupid crimes that happened this year, Remy Ma's was at the top of my list. I mean shooting your friend in the middle of the street after an event people seen you at was the dumbest thing ever. But then again, trying to pretend that it was an accident was even worse. But, leave it to Papoose to take the cake when he tried to bust his wifey to be out of jail!
Remy Martin was sentenced to 8 years for the shooting of Makeda Barnes Joseph. Which may seem like such a long time, but she was facing up to 15 years. Witnesses say that Remy was crying as the judge gave decided her fate. Not to mention homegirl is facing a 10 million dollar lawsuit as well.
What makes this tragic story a little funnier is what Papoose tried to do and why Remy didn't get hitched. Dumb-ass Pap, was caught by correction officers when he attempted to smuggle in a keys to handcuffs, on Rikers Island. I guess he was trying to free his future wifey. Well, now he is banned from the Island for six months, so there will be no "sex in the jail cell room". No word on when they will get married now.
