Isiah Thomas, who somehow kept the support of some of the head honchos for the Knicks, has finally lost it. Isiah, who since becoming team President of the Knicks in the 2003-2004 season has already went through 6 coaches and no solid performance from his team, now himself has gotten the boot. Admist bad roster calls and public humiliation for harassment Isiah will be replaced by Donnie Walsh.
Donnie, is mighty confident that he can bring some rings to the Knicks. He is very confident about finding a replacement. "I will get calls,...This is a coveted job. People want to coach here.''. He is also sure he is the right man for the job: "I just believe a new voice, a new coach, is necessary to change the direction of the team,'' Walsh said.

About where his predecessor went wrong wit his the NY franchise, he said: "I can't really tell you where he failed with the club. I think that we reached a point this season when our team didn't compete for a long time...The bottom line is that we haven't won and the team didn't look like it was motivated to try to win and be competitive.''
He doesn't play Isiah out, even though I am so tired of that PC crap. He adds: "I feel like some of the bigger events that happened on the way with Isiah have overshadowed some of the good things he's done for the franchise,''.
I'm just saying that aside from groping female employees losing millions for the Garden and taking the team nowhere he's done plenty. He never got ejected from a game from not wearing a suit and tie...LOL!
