Sex and the City will get some talent from Fergie and Jennifer Husdon in the upcoming film; 'Sex and The City: The Movie', which hits theaters May 30th.
Jennifer Hudson who plays Carrie's (Sarah Jessica Parker) assistant in the movie, will also sing a song on the soundtrack. In fact the song, "All Dressed Up in Love", was written by MC Jack Splash and Cee-Lo from Gnarles Brakley. The films director, Michael Patrick King says "She sings it like nobody’s business". Duh, I mean it is J Hudson.

Fergie wasn't as eager initially to work with films soundtrack. In fact, she was worried that she didn't have enough time as she was working on two other singles at the time. It took a private screening to get Fergie to sing the movie's opening number called, "Labels & Love". The song which is supposed to embody the whole Sex theme, was described as: "It’s an entirely new song with lyrics, but it has the Sex and the City theme as the DNA — on steroids.".
I am getting pretty excited about this movie and I will be forcing my better half to come...LOL!
