Well all you people who were screaming "Free T.I." you will not be fully disappointed. T.I. has pleaded guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He will in turn only spend one year behind bars, when he could have done years!
T.I. (Clifford Harris) will enter prison after completing 1,000 hours of community service. He will do motivational speaking to children about the dangers of drugs, gun and gangs. He will be able to witness the birth of his child.
His formal sentencing will be set for exactly a year from now; March 27th, 2009. If he does everything he is supposed to in his plea agreement, he will get officially sentenced, 1 year and 1 day. He will also pay a 100,000 dollar fine. Because this is a full sentence, he will also be eligible to get 15% of that time reduced. So he'll do like 10 months.
