MONTEL WILL BE QUIET AFTER 17 YEARS

Montel Williams is giving up the talk-show game after 17 years in the biz, reports People. This season will be his last. Whether you were a fan or not, you gotta respect a brotha for holding down a network TV show for nearly two decades.

“I can’t say thank you enough to those who’ve welcomed me into their homes for the past seventeen years,” Williams said in a statement. “It has been both an honor and a joy.”
