I always find irony in the fact that one substance abuse can always find the gall to give another substance abuser advice on how and what they should do with themselves but R&B singer Amy Winehouse's imprisoned husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, has done just that.

News of the World, a London paper, has published letters from the singers’s husband to his family, as well as conversations with his mother, Georgette Fielder-Civil.

Fielder-Civil admits he lives in fear of waking up and hearing his wife has died from a drug overdose, and says: "Every day I fear the prison chaplain [guard] is going to walk into my cell and break the news that Amy is dead."

Fielder-Civil also reveals that Winehouse is sometimes high on drugs when she comes to visit him in prison and regularly falls asleep during their meetings.

The 25 year-old warns his wife: "Quit smoking crack or you'll be dead in three months."

He also admits he and Winehouse were blowing $1,000 a day on heroin and cocaine before he got jailed--but reveals he has now cleaned up his act since being locked up. Duh!

Fielder-Civil now wants Winehouse to do the same (Well then maybe they should lock her up as well) and says: "I'm disappointed that Amy has been taking crack and I'm pleased she got caught, because at last she is going to get the help she deserves ( I think someone forgot to tell Amy cause she's still saying No, No, No).

"I want Amy to grab this opportunity in rehab so we can have a marriage and future together. Because the way she's going I really fear I will come out of prison to no wife."

Fielder-Civil also details their the couple's problems with self-harm, before criticizing his father-in-law, Mitch Winehouse.

"I hate Amy's father, Mitch. My mother calls him the Fat Controller," he writes. "He is on Amy's payroll. What man takes money off his daughter? Mitch ought to be ashamed."

Fielder-Civil is on remand currently in London's Pentonville prison awaiting trial over allegations of GBH and trial fixing.
