Amerie's Album Stalled in US. B/C the UK ain't impressed!

Amerie isn't too happy with Columbia Records. It seems she feels it may be partially their fault that her third LP, "Because I Love It", isn't selling well. And hence, hasn't been released in the US. She told UK mag, RWD, the following:

“You probably don’t even want to ask me that right now. That’s how I feel abut it. I personally love some of the people that work [at Columbia Records] in the UK… but I really don’t want to talk about it ’cause I want to keep it all positive, you feel me?”

Well, I admit, Sony BMG (Columbia's parent company), isn't promoting her the right way. What's a girl to do? I love her first single!
