RAPPER COMMON AS GREEN LANTERN?

According to EURweb.com, rapper Common is being considered for the role of Green Lantern in the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film Justice League. At one time, Tyrese Gibson's name was in the mix for playing the DC Comics superhero, who possesses a power ring that allows him to control the physical world as long as the he has the willpower and strength to wield it.

I like Common and all but out of the million young, black actors in New York alone, ya'll couldn't find anyone with stronger chops? Geez!
