Entertainment Bible Variety is reporting that Tyra “Money in the Bank” Banks just inked an even bigger deal with Warner Bros. that calls for the former cat walker to develop scripted and reality shows (Oh! Gawd). She'll also expand into film and DVD projects, beginning with the adaptations of the teen novel series Clique.
The "America's Next Top Model" producer-host has also carved out a series development deal with the CW, which is half-owned by Warners. Agreement covers both scripted and nonscripted projects. Banks said the new deal "represents the growth of an already successful relationship" with the studio.
As for series development, Banks said she's looking to create shows "that attract my core audience" and that are "aspirational and empowering” (Huh! I must have missed those shows) but we're going to have a lot of fun with those messages, too," she added.
Banks will continue her talk show and highly rated "America's Next Top Model."
I always thought her core audience were those who were at home at 10am, 11am, 12pm 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm and did nothing in between.
