 Fabolous and Keyshia Cole tapped for 'Only The Hood Dies Young'

Director Robert Yasim Wright has revealed that rapper Fabolous and R & B singer Keyshia Cole, have been cast as leads in "Only The Hood Dies Young". Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld is the executive producer.

We'll start shooting in the middle of October in South Jamaica, Queens

It was a blessing to get Karl Lagerfeld involved because he's huge. He loved the story. He said the drug problem is global, and that it's not limited. In writing the story, I created a situation that explains the behavior as opposed to just the behavior itself. I wanted to explain the behavior of the disadvantage youth.
